tantra-bhakti-jnana-vedic teachings

During the 3 days, Sreedevi’s teaching includes origin stories/myths and hymns of Lakshmi from sacred texts.

Initially associated with a few Vedic deities, Lakshmi of today is Goddess
Śrī from the Rig Veda - as auspicious wisdom and material abundance.

In the Shākta Tantra of Lakshmi, she is Goddess
Mahālakshmi,  Ultimate Reality and Supreme Divine Mother, both wrathful and benevolent.

In the
Purāṇa’s and bhakti tradition, Goddess Śrī Lakshmi is Vishnu’s consort in all his avatāra’s or embodiments. She is also Bhūdevi, Earth Goddess, and Śrīdevi, Goddess of auspiciousness/ abundance.  Provider of material abundance and self-knowledge.

The modern
Ashta-Lakshmi hymn honors eight deity forms and attributes of Lakshmi.

Through the practice of
rasa sādhanā, explore the nine rasa’s or emotive essence- energies embodied in Lakshmi’s deity forms.
